Infrastructure

More than just hosting, our approach to infrastructure keeps your applications and their environment in balance. We put this expertise to work on your projects to ensure their performance, security and longevity.

Why does infrastructure matter for your project?

Infrastructure is the invisible foundation of your digital house. If it is fragile, everything else (design, features, SEO) eventually collapses. Here is why it matters so much:

  • Performance and conversion: properly sized infrastructure is essential to optimize operational efficiency and the user experience in business applications. This smooth experience is a major driver of engagement and helps you maximize revenue.
  • Platform availability: every minute of downtime is a straight loss. With a 99.90% availability commitment, we make sure your infrastructure is reliable.
  • Operational peace of mind: technology should never hold you back. Leave the complexity to us and focus on your core business.

Our offering

Deployment on our infrastructure

We believe in a realistic, tailored approach. Our goal is not to always deploy the most complex architecture, but the one that best serves your project and its revenue. This technical efficiency relies on a human-sized team: with Synolia, you get a dedicated contact who knows your application. This closeness gives you a level of responsiveness and relevance that large, anonymous hosting companies cannot offer.

Entrust us with managing your platform’s entire lifecycle.

  • Sovereignty and compliance: hosting exclusively in France and Europe through our partners OVHcloud and Scaleway, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Ongoing operations and maintenance: daily configuration management and regular security patching.
  • Proactive monitoring: 24/7 monitoring to detect anomalies before they affect your revenue.
  • Security, resilience and integrity: we protect your assets (Anti-DDoS, WAF, encryption) with constant rigor.
  • Multi-provider strategy: cross-site backups, encrypted and isolated in physically separate locations, to keep your data safe over the long term.

Commitments and additional services:

  • Service guarantee (SLA): our close relationships with our hosting partners ensure optimal responsiveness when resolving your issues.
  • Dedicated support: a single point of contact and a team that is there for you.
  • Scalability and support: support options are available at every stage of your project. We run performance audits and load tests, and we adjust your environments to support your growth.
Deployment on your infrastructure (on-premise / third-party cloud)

Keep control of your servers while relying on a dedicated technical contact. We install your solution to your standards and provide the keys and deliverables your teams need to handle maintenance with complete peace of mind.

  • DevOps culture and tailored automation: we champion an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) culture while adapting our level of automation to your teams’ maturity, for reliable deployments that respect your tools and governance.
    • Implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline collaboration between development and infrastructure.
  • Consulting and installation: we help you size resources and fully configure your environments, taking your business constraints into account.
  • On-site work: to meet your security requirements, our teams can deliver these services remotely or directly at your premises.
  • Handover: once the configuration is approved and delivered, your IT department takes over responsibility for ongoing operations and maintenance.

    Performance

1. Where is my data hosted, and is sovereignty guaranteed?

Your data benefits from sovereign hosting located in France and Europe (unless you request a specific location). We selected OVHcloud and Scaleway for the robustness of their infrastructure, which meets the strictest security requirements. Running on these certified infrastructures (including ISO 27001) allows us to ensure strict GDPR compliance and deploy your projects in a secure environment.

2. Is my data safe in the event of a major outage?

Absolutely. We apply a geographic and technological redundancy strategy. Your data is not just backed up: it is encrypted and stored offsite on infrastructure that is physically and legally separate from your production environment. This “multi-site” approach lets us guarantee the integrity of your assets, even if a provider suffers a major incident. Our teams also run regular restore tests to validate the reliability of this setup.

3. What exactly does the managed services offer include, and what level of support do you provide?

The managed services offer covers the full infrastructure lifecycle: installation, ongoing operations and maintenance, and monitoring. It includes, among other things:

  • Monitoring and observability: proactive 24/7 monitoring with automatic alerts to our technical teams.
  • Support: our team is available during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.). In parallel, our partner teams monitor the hardware and our data centers around the clock (24/7).
  • SLA: if something goes wrong, we guarantee contractual response and recovery times, defined according to the severity and nature of the incident. We maintain a direct, close relationship with our hosting partners to ensure optimal responsiveness in resolving issues.
4. Who handles server security and updates?

We provide proactive monitoring and maintenance of your environment (system and middleware). Every week, we apply critical security updates to keep a robust shield around your data.

Expert insight: secure infrastructure cannot work without an up-to-date application. We help you keep your business solution aligned with current security standards, ensuring the overall integrity of your ecosystem.

5. Is my hosting scalable?

Yes, our approach is fully customized. The initial sizing of your infrastructure is based on an analysis of your data volume, number of users or visitors, and project complexity.

We offer additional services to support your evolving needs.

  • Architecture adjustment: use of scalable cloud resources to adapt capacity.
  • Load testing: tests (with 7 days’ prior notice) to make sure the platform holds up before any major event.
  • Application optimization: deployment of an APM module (such as New Relic) on e-commerce platforms to identify and eliminate application-level bottlenecks.
6. Can you install the solution on our own servers?

Yes, we can work on your infrastructure, including on-site, to configure your environments according to your IT constraints. In this case, Synolia’s experts support you through the initial installation. Once go-live is complete, your in-house technical teams take over day-to-day management (security, system updates, backups).

7. Is your offer still sovereign if I use a non-European external protection solution (WAF/CDN)?

We distinguish between storage sovereignty and transit sovereignty.

  • Your data remains sovereign: your data and applications stay hosted and processed exclusively on French infrastructure (OVHcloud or Scaleway). On this point, sovereignty is complete.
  • Transit sovereignty: using global protection (WAF) or acceleration (CDN) solutions means your data flows through third-party providers’ networks. If these providers are subject to extraterritorial laws (such as the CLOUD Act), part of the traffic could theoretically leave the European legal framework.
  • Our approach: by default, we favor the native security tools of our European partners. However, if your international performance needs or protection against massive cyberattacks justify a global security layer, we integrate it transparently and inform you of the impact on legal sovereignty.
