Eureden powers its e-commerce site with Quable PIM/DAM

Eureden is a cooperative agri-food group from Brittany that brings together 17,000 farmer-members and 8,000 employees around a shared ambition: providing quality food for everyone. Backed by brands committed to responsible practices, the group sells its products to consumers and professionals through a network of 200 stores across Brittany. To support this momentum, Eureden is preparing to launch two e-commerce sites (one for B2C, the other for B2B) built on the Adobe Commerce platform. With more than 250,000 product SKUs, implementing a PIM quickly became the obvious way to centralize, structure, and efficiently distribute product data across every channel. And that is where we came in: Synolia, together with Quable, supported this strategic digital project.

The product data challenge

As a leading agri-food player in Brittany, the Eureden cooperative group manages a large number of SKUs sold through its distribution network: no fewer than 250,000 healthy, tasty products!
Originally, all basic product information was stored in the ERP or entered directly into the old e-commerce site. Visuals, meanwhile, were scattered across countless folders, one set per supplier. So in 2024, when Eureden decided to rebuild its consumer and professional e-commerce site, PIM/DAM emerged as the obvious answer. To manage products at scale and make collaboration easier between the e-commerce and marketing teams, Eureden needed to centralize its information in a single repository and automate data distribution across all its channels.

Jean-Jacques Urien, PIM project lead at Eureden, first worked with consulting firms to run a market study of the available PIM solutions. The group quickly chose Quable, along with a top-tier integration partner: Synolia!

The Eureden brief

A PIM/DAM solution to centralize all product data and assets and boost productivity.

Synolia x Quable

When Jean-Jacques Urien launched the PIM project in 2024, Eureden carried out a thorough analysis: benchmarking the solutions on the market, talking with customers already using them, and working with a specialized consulting firm. At the end of this study phase, the choice fell on Quable, the solution that best met the group’s specific needs.
Key deciding factors included advanced DAM features for centralized digital asset management, and a brand portal designed to share product information easily with the distributor stores. Another major plus: attractive pricing that covers an unlimited number of SKUs at no extra cost.
That is when Synolia, a Quable integration partner, was brought in to support Eureden. Our teams ran several workshops (from half a day to a full day) alongside Jean-Jacques Urien and the e-commerce, marketing, and design teams. The goal: define a relevant, well-structured data model for the PIM.

Our scope: technical specification workshop and data model, tool configuration and integration into the IT system, and support.

“We had already done the groundwork on product classification and attribute definition. Synolia then gave us technical support on the Quable solution.”

A PIM/DAM project at the heart of the group’s e-commerce strategy

Synolia supported the rollout of Quable PIM/DAM at Eureden alongside another major project for the group: the redesign of its B2C and B2B e-commerce sites.
To make it happen, our teams had to work to a tight schedule while anticipating the solution’s integration with two e-commerce platforms that were still being built. After several workshops with the business teams to design the data model, we delivered a fully operational tool in fall 2024, ready to centralize all product information and visuals.

In September 2024, Myriam Creach joined the Eureden group to help the sales team bring product data into the PIM. It took several months of meticulous work, and it laid a key foundation for the group’s e-commerce strategy.
The effort involves collecting and checking a large volume of information from suppliers, with the goal of building a reliable, comprehensive product database ready for the new site’s launch, scheduled for Q2 2025.

“Extracting the data from our old site and loading it into the PIM took 3 to 4 months of work. Then we had to send the templates to each supplier to get complete data for every product, visuals included, and import it into the PIM.”
Myriam Creach, E-commerce Assistant, Eureden

PIM: an enabler for data management and cross-team collaboration

Quable saves Eureden a considerable amount of time by letting teams bulk-import large volumes of product data in just a few clicks.

“It is a user-friendly tool and very easy to pick up. It does not require any special training. You master it fairly quickly, and it is a pleasure to work with.”
Jean-Jacques Urien, Data Steward, Eureden

The solution also centralizes information from multiple sources, including the ERP and Google Drive. The tool has become a single, consolidated data repository shared by every business team: 20 users to date.

“We are already seeing considerable time savings when searching for product information. The marketing teams are embracing the PIM, and there is a real desire to make it an everyday tool.”
Jean-Jacques Urien, Data Steward, Eureden

For management, the PIM is also proving invaluable: data can be extracted via API to feed analytics tools and support strategic decision-making.

PIM: an accelerator for data distribution

Thanks to Quable, Synolia’s support, and the work of Jean-Jacques Urien and Myriam Creach, Eureden’s consumer and professional customers will be able to browse complete product pages with high-quality information and visuals, right from the launch of the two new websites.
Beyond the websites, the PIM also plays a central role in structuring and distributing product data across the group’s entire distribution network.

“We have not set up the brand portal yet, but we plan to open it to our stores soon so that our entire distribution network can access product information.”
Jean-Jacques Urien, Data Steward, Eureden

In short, Eureden now has a solid foundation to master its product data, streamline collaboration across teams, and deliver a richer experience to customers and partners alike.
